CANBUS allows the Directed system to communicate with the vehicle via high speed digital data, through either a single wire or a twisted pair, which ensures a robust connection with minimal wiring connections to the vehicle. This optional back-up battery adds to the security of any install, maintaining power delivery to your security system even if would-be thieves try to silence the siren by disconnecting your vehicle battery.

Install Essential Ultrasonic Sensor Kit (509U)
The 509U Ultrasonic sensor is used to provide coverage of a vehicle’s interior cabin area. The sensors detect movement inside the vehicle by sensing air disturbance.
Programmable Voice System (516L)
Add pre-programmed messages in either English or Japanese to your security system as an adjunct to the siren, including Viper specific messages (i.e. “Viper armed!”) Users can also record custom messages. Voice modules are also effective when used to generate Warn Away messages in conjunction with an optional 508D Radar sensor. The 516L can also be used as a P.A. system.
Universal Voice Module (516U)
Universal Voice Add-On. Can be programmed to generate voices in English or Spanish as well as Viper-Specific Messages. Can also read the siren output of most DEI systems and will follow the silent mode protocol. Can also be used to generate the warn away messages only.
Backup Battery Siren (515R)
Boost the security of your install with this optional Back-up Battery Siren, which will continue to sound even if would-be thieves are able to locate and silence your primary siren. Should be installed in a different part of the vehicle from the primary – please discuss optimal locations with your installer.
Audio Glass Break Sensor (506T)
Enhance the security of any install with an optional audio sensor, which detects tampering and breaking of the vehicle’s glass using a microphone and a microprocessor, which analyzes the frequency, intensity and timing of intrusion sounds to eliminate false alarms. Detects even “soft breaks” where the glass is shattered quietly, which might not trigger the shock sensor. The 506T adds an additional layer of protection.
Digital Tilt Motion Sensor (507M)
The 507M Digital Tilt Sensor from Directed is ideal for protecting a vehicle from theft by detecting when the vehicle is being raised by a tow truck or lifted using a jack, in an attempt to remove the wheels or tow the vehicle. The 507M auto calibrates each time the alarm is armed, referencing the vehicle’s angle of inclination and ensuring the most accurate tilt sensing possible. The 507M is perfect for protecting vehicles with upgraded wheels and tires.
Pulse Timer Relay With Adjustable Delay (528T)
Add special features to your vehicle with this pulse timer relay that features the ability to run up to 90sec. on an SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) relay.
Latching Timer Relay (611T)
This is the DEI 611T Active Latching Swith/Relay. The 611T is an extremely versatile switch/relay device that can be used for a variety of installation needs. The 611T can be programmed normally-open/normally-closed, switched –on with positive/negative input pulse, or programmed as a latch or timer.
Multi Channel Expander (450R)
6-channel receiver that has user programmable outputs. Will learn channels from any “HF” transmitter. An advanced Learn Route is used to store transmitter channels, as well as program the output types. The system will supply an output whenever the transmitter button controlling the channel is presses. The output of the 450R is low at a 200mA.
Bitwriter Programmer (998T)
The Bitwriter programs directed electronics ESP2 systems quickly and accurately. It can program most security and concenience systems including most remote start and keyless entry systems. It is a self-diagnostic tool for trouble shooting Directed ESP amplifiers.
